Depilation waxing for both men and women.
Hair removal from the body is not new, the ancient Egyptians did this long before women of today. The Egyptian women used depilatory creams and waxed their bodies using a combination of oil and honey to what is labeled as sugaring. In the ancient days, a smooth and hairless body was the standard of beauty, as it is today.
Waxing is a method of semi-permanent hair removal from the root of the hair follicle. Any part of the body can be waxed. If hair is waxed on a consistent basis, permanent hair reduction may be achieved. Hair removal can last from two to six weeks. Waxing is done by spreading a thin layer of wax over the skin, covering the hair. A cloth strip is applied over the wax and pressed gently or rubbed lightly, and ripped off with a quick movement opposite of hair growth. The wax and hair is removed to a smooth finish, and the feel of bare skin cannot be compromised.
Waxing in the most gentle and fastest way possible, using a special spatula on larger areas of the face and body, using just enough wax, never touches the skin, ensuring the cleanest, most hygienic waxing experience one can receive. This leaves an active area of cells. Over a period of four to six weeks depending on the strength of the hair and new hair will grow. Over a period of time and regular waxing treatments the hair becomes weaker and will eventually stop growing. In some areas the hair growth is stronger than others and will therefore require longer periods of waxing treatments. The rate of re-growth varies amongst individuals.
Methods
Methods of hair removal such as shaving, cutting, abrasive gloves and depilatory creams only remove the hair from the surface of the skin so within a few days blunt re-growth is apparent-the hair grows back often thicker and spiky.
Waxing Recommendations
Hair growth must be approximately 1cm in length for a successful waxing treatment.
For delicate areas bikini, eyebrows, underarm, lip,oil is applied before to the skin.
