Was established by Carmen Vidal-Ballester in the beautiful, remote village of Alcoy in Spain. From a very early age Carmen became especially interested in natural cosmetics, as reflected in her studies in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Algiers. However it was when she moved to Paris, the birthplace of cosmetics, that she further developed her passion, craft and knowledge of the world of aesthetics and beauty. After settling in Alcoy (near Alicante) a small village in the hills of Spain surrounded by olive groves and orange orchards in 1964, Carmen established a beauty therapy business for the elegant Spanish ladies of the area and offered her clients the divine products she developed herself in the tiny kitchen of that small beauty salon, which was to become the birthplace of Germaine de Capuccini After 44 years Germaine de Capuccini has seen phenomenal growth from those humble beginnings, today incorporating the experience specialised professionals, all dedicated to skin,and body care.
